After this excessively long, cold and stormy winter we all have the cobwebs of winter. Even though the calendar says we’re well into spring, it sure doesn’t feel or look like it here in Ontario. Does your body, mind and spirit feel a little sluggish still? Help is on the way. As always, when a change is needed, a de-cluttering is first on the list. Do the obvious first and de-clutter areas of your home that you find bothersome and visual daily. Literally sweep away any cobwebs and dust. Put away any décor items that are winter themed and bring out the fresh bright colours. Open the blinds and let the light in. Darn – just noticed I have to wash the windows now……but just see how great they look and you feel when they once again sparkle. Or in extreme cases you can now finally see out again…… Once you’ve done that take a break and reward yourself. Sometimes having the reward in mind before tackling the tasks help with the motivation. Get a little (or a lot) fresh air and a brisk walk in the park can do wonders. Pay attention to the changing landscape, the sound of the birds or perhaps babbling brook. Give thanks in whatever way feels right to you. Sometimes when I’m feeling abundantly grateful I give something away. Whether it be a smile to a stranger who looks a little down, or a donation to charity, or lending a hand to a friend with a problem or project. Doing these small changes in your home and giving yourself the gift of fresh air and exercise can greatly improve your outlook and therefore what you draw to you. Next blog post will cover more de-cluttering for your surroundings and your inner world. As well as details on the soon to be released online De-Cluttering Workshop. What have you de-cluttered lately and what changes did you experience? (note:  all relevant comments to any blog post will net you a draw entry for a complimentary combination Axiatonal Alignment/Reiki session.  Those at a distance will receive a credit to use towards any upcoming online workshops)
